Pre-Registration Requirements
Your car must pass tech before the drivers meeting. To pass tech, please do the following:
Remove loose items
-
Clear out everything that can move around, including phone cables, garage door openers, loose change, and similar items.
Car condition
-
Battery must be securely mounted.
-
No active leaks from the engine, transmission, or differential.
-
Tires must be serviceable. No cords showing and enough tread to run safely.
-
Remove hubcaps and wheel center caps unless they are held on by the lug nuts.
Interior
-
Floor mats must be removed unless they are physically attached to the carpet. We do not want a mat to slide under the pedals.
Helmet
-
Snell approved helmet, 2010 or newer, M-rated or SA-rated.
-
DOT-only helmets are not accepted.
It is your responsibility to
-
Check oil, coolant, and brake fluid.
-
Torque lug nuts to the manufacturer’s spec.
-
Set tire pressures. If you are not sure where to start, ask at tech.
If this is your first autocross
-
Bring tape or numbers that strongly contrast with your car’s color. Dark tape on a dark car is hard to read.
