Join the SCDA on Friday, August 5th for the only SCDA High Performance Driver Education event of 2022 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway
About the Event:
- 4 Sessions on Track
- Open to drivers of ALL skill levels
- SCCA Racers are welcomed to get some practice before the race weekend! Please sign up for the Small Bore Group or OPEN WHEEL Group, running same configuration as the SCCA race weekend (south oval) with north chicane.

NHMS is located in Loudon, New Hampshire, about an hour north of Boston. The SCDA has been hosting high performance track events at NHMS for over a decade. This unique facility is a 1.6 mile road course that utilizes both permanent road course, as well as NASCAR Sprint Cup Oval sections. Furthermore, there are some dramatic elevation changes that keep drivers of all ability levels on their toes. The facilities at NHMS are first rate.
Sound Restrictions: Please note that cars will need to be MUFFLED to 99dB at all NHMS track events unless otherwise expressed.
Passing Zones:
RUN GROUPS AVAILABLE on Friday, AUGUST 5th:
- NOVICE: The Green Group. (Newer track drivers with no experience to limited experience, typically novice drivers spend about 5 events in the novice group. Instructors are required and will be provided for In car instruction. If desired or uncomfortable with in-car instruction depending on COVID-19, lead shadow w/ radio communication is available )
- INTERMEDIATE 1: The Blue Run Group. (Must have prior experience driving solo without an instructor, at least 5 events driving solo)
- INTERMEDIATE 2: The White Run Group. (Must have considerable road course experience and at least 20 track events)
- ADVANCED: The Red Run Group. (Highest level- years of track experience)
- CLOSED Wheel Racecar Group- Licensed Racers with full logbook racecars and racegear. (using south oval and north chicane, same as scca race weekend)
- CLOSED Wheel Racecar Group- Licensed Racers with full logbook racecars and racegear. (using south oval and north chicane, same as scca race weekend)
