Instructors for the
2026 WHRRI/SCCA Accredited Competition Driving School
Due to a surplus of instructors in recent years, only a limited number of instructors will be approved to participate in this year's school. You must receive a confirmation email and be listed in the Attendees list on the MSR registration page.
Priority will be given to instructors with WHRRI memberships, seniority in instructing and positive feedback and interactions in previous schools.

Please note there are two levels of registration:
1- Instructors with 3 or more years of experience as a driving school instructor at Waterford Hills will have the opportunity to mentor students and new instructors.
2- Instructors with less than 3 years of experience will have the opportunity to be an observer/instructor-in-training. (some exceptions may be made based on skill level and club involvement) -
General information about the school: The Competition Driving School is for individuals wishing to compete in “wheel-to-wheel” racing events sanctioned by WHRRI, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and other sanctioning organizations accepting the WHRRI driving school permit.
Below you will find the schedule and information needed to register as an instructor at this nationally renowned Competition Driving School. Registration is mandatory.

Event requirements
Please continue on to register as a volunteer driving instructor.
Requirements are:
- Instructors need to have at least 3 years of previous school experience in wheel-to-wheel instructing.
- Instructor-in-training will shadow an Instructor during the weekend and observe students while reporting back to the Instructors.
Please answer ALL questions relating to your racing/instructing experience on the registration form.
