Come out and join us for the 9th event of the year, Please register early, registration closes at noon on the 15th of November. The event will be at the Old Peach County High School in Fort Valley, GA. Address is 902 Campus Drive, Fort Valley. Site will open at 7 AM and we will have a drivers meeting at 9:30. We will not take walk up registrations so register online please. You can purchase your weekend membership here as well.
This is a charity event supporting the Halo Group based in Perry, GA. This is Christian based charity that offers life skills and job training as well as so much more for adults with autism and other learning disabilities. All proceeds from this event will be donated to them.
We are going to do something different this event. It is called Aussie Pursuit and has been done in autocrosses several times. We will do "qualfying" in the morning starting at 10 and everyone will get 4 runs to set a time. We will then take lunch and the double elimination bracket will be set by drawing names for pairs. After lunch we will run head to head. There will be two cars on the course at the same time starting on opposite sides of the loop course. At this point the timer isn't being used but we will have spotters standing on opposite sides of the course watching to see who finishes first. We will go through the specifics during the drivers meeting. There will be trophies for the top 3, and the fastest raw and pax qualifiers.
We will also have pizza provided for lunch that will happen somewhere between 1130 and 1 depending on how long qualifying takes and we will commence the head to head at 1. During lunch anyone that would like to give rides to some of the folks from the charity at about 75% pace that would be fun.

Event requirements
Loaner helmets will be available. We will ask you to purchase a headsock for $1 that you can keep and use over and over again. This will help to keep the loaner helmets in good condition so we can get a good life out of them. Please have cash.
Must have a valid driver license and will be checked at check in, please don't forget it, we will have to turn you away.
Minors must have a annual SCCA Minor Waiver approved by the SCCA prior to the event. For information go to Login Required to create a SCCA Portal login and go to the Online Store and Licenses and Waivers. It is FREE but both parents and the minor(s) have to create accounts and fill out their portion, and then wait for SCCA approval.
BTW, for members that would like an annual membership, follow the same instructions.
